Rigid containers are similar in construction to the collapsible models, except they are designed with 3" x 3" x 3/16" angle iron corner posts for optimum stability and stacking ease. Side panels, end panels and platform deck are open mesh welded wire with grid patterns and wire gauges of various size, depending on load capacity. U-channel base construction is identical to that of the collapsible units. Gusset reinforced, formed steel leg has arched base to aid in positioning accuracy when stacking.
A
rugged, heavy-duty container for handling castings, forgings, stampings, gears
and similar heavyweight parts. Rigid welded steel construction with 3" x 3" x
3/16" angle iron corner posts and heavy-gauge welded wire side and end panels in
a 2" x 2" open mesh pattern. Angle iron corner posts are capped, forming an
open socket to receive bottom leg for stacking, in a secure post to-socket
connection. Runner bars along bottom of end panels are 1/2" x 2", provide added
strength.
